Colret House

Bed & Breakfast.

Accommodation.

Welcome to our family home. We trust that you will find the accommodation comfortable and hope you will enjoy your stay.

Below, we have listed some useful household and general information, however should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask, we will do all we can.

Colret House is Edwardian, built in 1902 on the Downs between Dover (4 miles) and Canterbury (10 miles), in the village of Coldred. The House overlooks the village green and has extensive, well tended gardens. In 1997, we erected two self-contained double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms adjacent to the house. Each has its own front door and key.

IT IS THESE ROOMS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO GUESTS.

Each room has central heating, smoke alarm, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, TV, radio and alarm clock. Cots and high chairs, trouser press, ironing and drying facilities are readily available.

We welcome children and you may bring dogs by arrangement.

There is ample secure parking.

Colret House is ideally situated for that useful, and in many cases essential, overnight stay for those travelling to or from the Continent either by ferry via Dover or on the shuttle through the tunnel.
